Hansel & Gretel
EN_ various technics were used in this surrealistic composition: from photography, to cutting,
collage, painting, image and texture edition, with the intuition to represent this child´s tale
in the best way.
_ with Maggie Taylor's work in mind, I used my own photographies in the composition background,
wich represent the dense and frightning forest, and the 'sweet aroma' of the house that
correspond to an evening sky.
_ the purpose of the elements associated to the moth is to serve as an analogy to the poor social
status of the characters and to the overwhelming sense of innocence to follow the light, in this
case, until they reach the witch's house.
